For a guy who was the unlikeliest of apostles, Paul stepped up big in the early days of the church. He traveled far beyond his comfort zone and spoke truth to power – despite the risks – over and over and over again. And for his trouble he was beaten, stoned, jailed and chased by angry mobs.

He approached every danger and setback as an opportunity to teach about Jesus. That’s some impressive faith. Maybe someone ought to name a church for him or something…

As we approach the end of our 31-week journey through The Story, Paul urges, “live a life worthy of the calling you have received.” Seems like as good a compass as any.

Our time together with The Story is almost up, but the story of God and his people continues- we live it every day. If you’re interested in picking up a copy of this chronological arrangement of the Bible, check with the church office. Study guides and questions for reflection can be found on the Story page of this site. We also have several copies of The Story of Jesus, a short paperback that includes just the seven chapters that span Jesus’ time on earth.
