Worship

pouring wineThe Worship ministry team recruits and coordinates the volunteers who do all those little – and not so little – things that enrich our worship services.

Some serve as ushers – passing out bulletins, collecting offering and serving communion. Our liturgists share the scripture on Sunday, and upper-elementary age youth have the opportunity to take part in the service as acolytes. Our children’s messengers gather children of all ages for a special message that brings the week’s lesson to life, invoking and inviting a kid’s perspective.

Thanks to church members we also have fresh flowers at the altar each Sunday, a time for coffee, cookies and fellowship after church, and a friendly face (or two, or more) to greet you at the door.
